Workshop: Herbal Medicine for Stress and Trauma

There has been such an incredible response from the community that it is necessary to confirm those who are absolutely interested in a seat. Please arrive early, as doors will open at 5:30pm and those on the RSVP list will be prioritized until 10 minutes before the start time. After that, all walk ins will be accepted. The cost of the workshop will be $15 at the door.

Join us for a two hour discussion of how stress affects the body and the ways western herbal medicine can help with a variety of health issues that arise out of such. The evening will start with an in-depth introduction to the history and science that defines these traditions. Joshua will then present a variety of herbs and health care strategies, that can address issues that arise with the systems of the body that are affected most by stress.

In order to pay for travel and lodging for Joshua and his wife. The Workshop will be $15 to attend. ( However, no one turned away for lack of funds)

Joshua Muscat has 25 years of clinical experience as founder and director of the Plumas Botanical Medicine Clinic, an herbal healthcare clinic with a strong grounding in ethics and access. He has studied at Michael Moore's Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, the Pacific School of Herbal Medicine, the California School of Traditional Hispanic Herbalism, the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine, and the South Star School of Traditional Tonic Chinese Cooking. He is a clinical herbalist and a wildcrafter.
